Last updated 18 June 2026

TJ Productions ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This statement explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using this website or engaging our services you consent to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

TJ Productions is a South Coast NSW based DJ, MC and photobooth hire business. You can contact us at bookings@tjproductions.com.au or 0488 123 234.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Name, email, phone and event details you submit through our contact or quote forms.
  • Correspondence between you and us (email, SMS, messaging).
  • Photos and video captured at events we are engaged to provide (with your knowledge at the event).
  • Technical information automatically collected when you visit the site: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and timestamps — collected via Google Analytics (GA4) cookies only after you accept the cookie notice.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (as defined by the Privacy Act) and we do not collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian's consent.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
  • Plan, deliver and invoice the services you book.
  • Send service-related communications (run sheets, confirmations).
  • Improve our website and services using aggregated analytics.
  • Meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We will not use your personal information for direct marketing without your consent, and any marketing communication we send will include an unsubscribe option.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our pages. Google Analytics sets cookies that may collect a truncated IP address, device information and pages viewed. These cookies are only loaded after you select "Accept" on the cookie notice. If you select "Decline", no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing the tjp-cookie-consent-v1 entry from this site in your browser settings, which will cause the notice to reappear.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We disclose personal information only where necessary to provide our services or comply with the law. This may include:

  • Venues and other suppliers involved in delivering your event.
  • Our hosting, database, email and analytics providers (including Google LLC and our website hosting platform), some of whom may store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union.
  • Government agencies, regulators or law enforcement where required by law.

We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the APPs.

6. Storage and security

We hold personal information in secure cloud systems protected by access controls, encryption in transit and authentication. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by Australian law (for example, the seven year record-keeping period for tax records). When no longer required, information is securely deleted or de-identified.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing bookings@tjproductions.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this statement

We may update this statement from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page with the "last updated" date above.
